 Greenday:

 the colour combination colour popping (black red white) the heart form of the granate red symbolic the blood kind of shows the genre of the band

 Taylor swift colours are not really strong taylor swift is shown on the cover herself pretty woman -> attention her signature is on the cover 

 What doesnt work ?

 The name of the Album is fearless but she doesn't seem fearless on the album 

 what is the genre of the band/artist and how do you know? What conventions have been used

 -Green Day is the biggest title on the cover 

 Taylor swift:  

- the genre is pop/ country   I can see that because of her image and hair...

 What message and or theme do you think there is behind the art choices the band/artist have made?

 Greenday: the hand in the air -> strenght the genre is pop punk band

Taylor swift: because of the title  fearless she kinda wanna send  a message to young girls that they should not have any fears (be fearless).
